Who we are
This website (legendofedda.gg) is the official website of the game Legend of Edda: Pegasus, operated by IndigoWare. “We” and “us” mean IndigoWare acting as the operator of this website and of the game service it accompanies.
What we collect
We only collect what the site needs in order to work:
- Account data you type in yourself when you register: username, e-mail address, password, and the language you signed up in. Your password is sent to the game service and is never stored by this website.
- Sign-in data from Steam, Discord or Google, if you choose to use one of those to sign in: the identifier that provider gives us, and the e-mail address or display name it shares. We do not receive your password at that provider.
- Newsletter data, if you subscribe: your e-mail address, your language, and whether you have unsubscribed.
- Referral data, if you use an invite link: the invite token from the link, kept in a cookie so the invitation can be credited when you finish signing up.
- Technical data that any web server receives: IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, used to serve the site and keep it secure.
Why we use it
To create and manage your game account, to confirm your e-mail address, to show you your account and rankings, to credit invitations, to send the newsletter you asked for, to keep the site and game service secure and free from abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
Cookies
We use only functional cookies. They keep you signed in, remember the language you chose, and remember an invite link you arrived from. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data. Blocking these cookies will break sign-in and language selection.
Who else sees your data
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site, and only for that purpose:
- The Legend of Edda game service, which holds your game account.
- Resend, which delivers our confirmation and newsletter e-mails.
- Steam, Discord and Google, if you choose to sign in with them.
- Our hosting provider, which serves the website.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Cookies expire on their own; the invite cookie is short-lived. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete your account, or withdraw consent for e-mails at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe from the unsubscribe page on this site. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local data protection law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This website is not directed at young children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
