A costume is a wearable that changes your appearance. Costume pieces occupy their own slots, so they sit over your real equipment rather than replacing it - your stats keep coming from the gear underneath.
The pieces
A costume set is built from the same slots as ordinary armour:

A set does not have to be worn whole. Mixing pieces from different sets is normal, and the head piece is the one that changes a character's silhouette most.
The wardrobe
The Wardrobe stores your costumes outside your bag. Open it with `Ctrl+W` or the Wardrobe button in the inventory. Each character has their own, and a piece keeps everything about it while stored - a 30-day costume keeps counting down. Pieces timed by play time cannot be stored.
The same window lists the costume sets in the game and lets you see what each set looks like piece by piece, so you can decide before you buy.
⭐ Wings are the wardrobe's sixth piece. An equipped wing shows on the preview doll and comes off with Remove all, like everything else you are wearing.
A cape is put away while you wear a cash costume. The cape is not lost - it comes back when the costume comes off.
Masks, wings, capes and auras
Masks, wings, capes and auras have no level requirement - any character can wear them. A mask is purely cosmetic: it has no stats, no set bonus and cannot be enchanted.
Where costumes come from
Costumes are sold in the Item Mall, and 30-day versions of many sets come round in the weekly mall rotation - including the 91 sets from Luna Online. Capes and auras have their own Capes shelf, rotating the same way, and masks have a Masks shelf. Registering costumes in the Codex also scores on the monthly Fashion ranking - see Titles.
Faction-locked costumes
Some costumes exist in an Olympus version and a Titan version. If you switch faction the game rewrites them into the other side's copy and keeps everything about the item - including keeping a worn costume worn.
